If you are using my previously released music in your project, this is for you. This does not apply to custom soundtracks.
Due to how the license works and the Smart Content ID system looks for credits, this can cause issues for products that don’t fall into the video/streaming space. If you’ve used my songs in your project, we wouldn’t want recordings of your product to get flagged. That wouldn’t be fair to anyone, as the third party has no knowledge of the license.
To remedy this, I will need to be supplied with the product’s title prior to release, so that it can be added to the set of exclusion terms the system looks for. This way it simply looks past the original requirement of appropriate credit and everything works as intended.
